| CONSTRUCTION |
Desk Sets: Printed on the under surface of clear, embossed tough material. Protected from wear and tear, the print will last indefinitely. A background white is applied to the print and a black print is applied to the FlatPot™. Durable black EPDM foam is laminated to the coasters and mouse mats.
FlatPots™: supplied on their own (i.e. not as part of a desk set): The 'flags' are undersurface printed onto a clear material. The inside of the pot is printed black. The print is protected by a varnish.
Simple designs can often be screen-printed. Designs in full colour or using fine tints will require printing by offset litho. We can advise you if you fax the design you have in mind and we can assist with design. We can supply die-lines on paper or templates on disk.

FlatPot™: live area is 91mm x 248mm. Bleed area is 110mm x 277mm. See Diagram C
DeskSet mouse mat: 200mm x 235mm. Bleed 2.5 mm all round.
DeskSet coasters: 98mm diameter. Bleed 2.5 mm all round.
These sizes have been chosen carefully to make the most efficient use of the material.

| DESIGN AND LAYOUT OF THE FLATPOT™ |
The area of the FlatPot™ that is opposite the locking seam presents a natural front, which usually features the main advertising message or company logo. (See Diagram A).
Care needs to be taken with the FlatPot™ design to ensure that both ends match up visually when the FlatPot™ is assembled. Good design will minimise the visual impact of the locking seam. (See Diagram B).
The image live matter area inside the slot cut outs is 91mm. x 248mm allow for bleed off from the image area to the external cut out dimensions of: 107mm x 274mm (see Diagram A).
We can supply a FlatPot™ die-line on transparent material or a template on a 1.44Mb floppy disk prepared in Quark Express for the Apple Mac.
It is very easy to prepare mock ups of the FlatPot™ by pasting a paper proof over a plain sample which we can supply.
